Cars and Girls
Over the past few weeks my two eldest girls have expressed an interest in learning how to tell what kind of car they see on the road. So we have has talked about the symbols on the cars that help you to differentiate which brand they are and what type of car they are. They have become very good at knowing where to look for the symbols. Now we have challenge games where they have to look for a Mazda or a Ford Explorer. They are getting pretty good, but so far I can still pick the cars out faster than they can. We had an interesting experience with the car racks though. My eldest daughter was trying to spot a car that was the same type as our friend Aileen's. So, we found a Ford Freestyle, and she says "yes, that is the one, with the Tiara on top!" Did you know that a luggage rack looks like a Tiara for the car?

Very cute (about the tiara). THe fun things I get to look forward to with teenagers!! That's cool that you know more than they do about cars.
