Well, at my house the Little people burst through the door yesterday morning with tons of energy and enthusiasm at...6:05am. Lillian was so very excited that it was the first day of her summer break, and she had to get all the things on her chart DONE! (We don't normally have charts during the school year) In the summer if you get everything on your chart done each day you get a $.25 for each day, at the end of the week. By 6 yesterday Lilly had made her bed, gotten dressed and brushed her hair. Today on the other hand, she is playing hypochondriac and is sure she is too sick to do any work today. (She is "Eloise and she is 6")
Bruce was out the door at 6:25am yesterday, and 7:10 today for Cub Scout Day Camp. He decided to go help as Staff. His plan is that each day he will wear a different hat from his collection. Yesterday he wore his Colonial Captain's Hat, Today it was the Enormous Sombrero. I think he needs more weird hats. He will probably wear his fedora tomorrow, and his panama straw with the straws poking out. Then he might have to wear a baseball hat! Shocking. He likes to draw attention to himself. I am okay, as long as it isn't detrimental. Oh well! He is definitely my kid.....
Today we are headed to the Forest to drop Rachael off for Girl's camp. This is her first year, and she is excited but yet very nervous. She will have a great time I am sure, she has a terrific personality, and makes friends easily. (I have no idea where that comes from) We will have a hard time, due to her not being here to walk with me each morning, but I just might have to enlist my 10 year old next. Off to the Laundry room.

speaking of great hats, has Bruce seen Mr. Magorium's Wnder Emporium? The kid in there has an amazing hat collection! =]
That is super cool that Rachael walks with you each morning!! What a nice bonding time for you both!
