Cora Is now 11!

For the third year in a row Miss Cora requested Pumpkin Pie for her birthday. She also requested Key Lime Pie as well.(She KNOWS I have a weakness for Key Lime) I also made Cupcakes and frosted a few of them with candy corns so that Jason and Robin and Holly would be able to enjoy Cora's birthday.

I'm thinking she had a good birthday, I wasn't home for this part which is why there are pictures! I had dinner with her and daddy was there for the singing and the blowing out of candles. Tag team parenting what fun. No really my gardening class was good last night. Sorry I missed the pie part. Oh we also discovered last evening that Cora is now taller than Myra, who is two years her senior....

Family Status

Bruce has moved to a new area, Denton, TX. He loves that it is a college town. Spencer has been dropped off for his one semester college experience at BYU - Provo. He is excited to go to classes and learn to feed himself. He seems to be taking care of himself just fine, Within an hour of being back in his apartment he had his router set up and was getting internet on his computer. The older girls have started school and are doing well. It was exhausting, but the Show choir and Ballroom performance on the first day went well for the senior. The Senior and Sophmore have survived 2 days so far. The 7th grader did very well adjusting to lockers and middle school. She didn't get lost, and it only took 10 tries at the end of the day to get her locker open! We walked the 5th grader to her class the first day and she thinks her teacher is fantastic! Still waiting for Kindergarten assignments so we will know who Holly's teacher is. She starts a week after everyone else. I am sort of in mourning after sending off the college boy. He also has finished both of his interviews and submitted his paperwork to be called on a mission . Excited to see where he will be called!
