Living in Western Utah there are some trees but not nearly as many as we were used to on the East Coast. So we decided that we could call our trip a tree search..
Okay there are trees in the back but we got a kick out of the old school bus just abandoned in the middle of the field. Almost as if it had made a stop and then went no further...
These trees were immense! We were walking through the center of this tree. Spencer is 6 feet tall!
Tree hugging starts early!

Kings canyon / Sequoia National park in Northern California. Just a couple of hours south of your Sister:)
That's a redwood ... those aren't found in Utah.
