Today Miss Elsie Rae had no school. She had to go a day earlier than everyone else so this was her make up day. She wanted to go and see where her daddy worked. She went in with him at 5:20 am and came home just before 7 pm. She made a ;list of things she learned today:
Times she went to the Restroom: 6
Times she heard a swear word: 3
Times she wished she was warmer: 27
Times she thought about how much her bum hurt: 10
She walked into the diner and stood in line behind a man with a gun slung over his shoulder!
She walked into a Colonel's office and was frightened by a manikin dressed as a soldier. Was frighted by it all three times she looked at it.
Times she almost fell asleep in meetings: 2
Saw a red balloon.
Got a 3 Musketeer Bar
Saw a Pirate Lunch party
Times she shook hands with others: 7
Was warned there would be a test after the 1st meeting.
She saw the desk where her Brother worked during the summer
A Colonel swore she looks just like her mom
Times she was called her father's daughter: 2
At lunch she was surrounded by 24 army men in battle dress uniform
Times she saw her father's smart white board rotate: 6
Times she sat in the "sitting room" : 3
Times she spied on other people: 4
Times someone has turned to her and asked her to excuse them for their language: 2
She listened to which football teams were expected to win this year
She heard about a guy throwing up on the phone
Times she was introduced to Dad's coworkers: 34
It was an eventful day, She was still glad that she went. What a daddy daughter bondage (oops) Bonding day :)
